FAQ

When should we schedule our engagement session?

There's really no right or wrong answer but If you wish to use them for save the dates or invites I recommend scheduling your engagement session 6-9 months before the wedding. This gives you enough time to use the photos for save-the-dates or your wedding website.

How long does an engagement session last?

Engagement sessions typically last between 1-2 hours, depending on your package and how many locations you’d like to include. This allows us to capture a variety of shots while keeping the experience relaxed and fun!

What should we wear for our engagement photos?

I suggest choosing outfits that reflect your style and make you feel comfortable. It’s a great idea to coordinate, but avoid matching exactly. Neutral tones, soft pastels, or rich colors often photograph beautifully. Avoid clothes with bold patterns or logos, as they can distract from your faces.

Where should we do our engagement shoot?

The location can be anywhere that reflects your personality as a couple. Whether it’s a park, an urban city scape, your favorite café, or a meaningful spot, I’ll work with you to choose a place that feels special. We can also have multiple locations if you want to mix it up!

What if we’re not comfortable in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal! My goal is to make you feel at ease and have fun with the process. I’ll guide you throughout the session, giving gentle prompts and directions, so you don’t need to worry about posing. Most couples say they feel comfortable after just a few minutes!

Can we bring our pets to the session?

Absolutely! If your pet is an important part of your life, I'd love to include them in your photos. Just make sure to have a friend or family member ready to help if needed, especially if the location has restrictions.

Do you travel for engagement sessions?

Yes, I’m happy to travel for engagement sessions! I've gone as far as California! If you have a specific location in mind, such as a destination or special spot, let me know. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance, but I’m flexible and love capturing couples in unique locations.
